Dont get me wrong there are lots a really good motorcycles out there and I have owned many of them, but I didnt understand the difference until I bought my first Harley.
Just because I am standing up for something this country is and should be proud of I'm sure I will get a lot of "thumbs-down" ratings from the people who dont know what it means to be patriotic.|||Wow... Way to kill it. Everything was going great for you! Then you threw in the "rusting rice-burner" line...

|||Just sayin,,,,Harley isn't 100% American anymore and hasn't been for nearly 15 years.,,,Buell, a former Harley engineer doesn't even exist anymore, Harley got him back,,,,Victory hasn't been 100% American for 3 years...the only way to get 100% is custom(OCC,Jesse James, etc.)Ridley is the only one.

|||Victory is considered the best American Vtwin, but Vic, and Haley-Davidson is pretty much antiquated butt jewelry for pretty boys.l Any time that littbittydicklve wants to run I have a Honda with 178,000 miles that smokes Milwaukee vibrators, regularly. It was made in Ohio and has more US made parts then any of the Chinaglides.|||INDIAN is being made again by the guys that took over criss craft boats.. meaning they have more enginers than lawyers (the opposite of HD)
they are a retro bike too..
my 1975,86,91,96,2000, and 2008 hondas are all running great and smoke every "big twin" bike out there..
american made "bigtwins".. turning gas in to sound with out the byproduct of horsepower.|||the best hondas are built here in usa/thats been a fact for years/honda wont talk about it/harley is not only a bike but also a cult/they still make the nicest road bikes for all sizes/the new evo engines are great i have owned british/italian/spanish/usa/japanese/som鈥?good points and bad/on all|||Quite a few, with much duplication of effort.|||Look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mot鈥?/a>|||Buell is american made, in wisconsin. Alot of harley type bikes are missing fuel guages and such probably to be more nostalgic and old school more than anything.|||Pretty sad state of things. Harley and Victory aren't really motorcycles, just butt jewelry for geezers.|||Harley and Victory are about it. Unless you want a "custom" chopper. Hondas are no longer assembled in the United States.
