Do Victory motorcycles sound anything like a Harley?

well sorta

they have a thump thump sound, but it is definatley not the same

these copycat type bikes incorporate a motor with 52 degree cylinders or 54 degree

while a harley's cylinders are at 45 degree angles, makes a truley one of a kind sound|||That would be a yes and no. Depending of course on what you THINK a Harley sounds like. Are we talking stock exhaust, after market pipes (of which there are hundreds of varieties), or straight pipes, all of which are available for both bikes. Both bikes are big V twins and produce nearly identical sound, some may argue that they could tell the difference, I'm skeptical. Both are great bikes with alot to consider, I never thought of a bikes sound be a deciding factor for purchase.|||a vic sounds like a vic. more american than harley without the posers...........the only thing harley has going for it is 100 years of the same boring design.......oh and tee shirts.|||You can make almost any bike very loud by going with after market exhaust systems. The truth is that most serious riders don't want to sound loud. Serious riders wear ear plugs at highway speed because even with a windshield and full face helmet, highway speed wind noise is loud enough to damage your hearing in a short time. The saying "loud pipes save lives" is a bunch of crap. Stock Harley's aren't that loud either, ignorant owners put on straight pipes to make up for small penis sizes.|||Yeah ,,Kinda,,,but it's not a Harley,,,,,when someone ask's you what you ride,,Do you want to reply,,I ride a Yamaha,,Kawasaki,,Victory,,,or would you rather say,,"I ride a Harley",,,,All these other bikes try to imitate a Harley,,,but can never be a Harley,,,,end of story.|||NOTHING sounds like a Harley!|||To the untrained ear they may soud very close if not the same, but to anyone who is serious about bikes you will sound and look like a poser.
